I have always wanted a Sparco steering wheel. But getting one to fasten to the factory steering column was a bit tricky. Momo makes an official 'designed for Saab' adapter for the old school 99 and 900, up to at least the 1995 900. The 9-3 and 9-5 have much larger splines with no companies officially supplying an adapter. So I sourced a 1995 900 steering column shaft -- the shafts are two piece, sliding/collapsible assemblies. Many on the forums report reassembling the splines is impossible, but I was able to get them apart and together with no issue (the splines ARE aligned to only together one way, I just kept trying until they slid together with no effort). So a 9-3 steering column assembly with the 900 upper splined shaft is the trick.
