Each Hour of Reassembly Requires 10 Hours of Prep and Cleaning

While paintwork was underway for a few weeks, I set about with detergents, an ultrasonic cleaner, semi-gloss black aerosol, and a Coors Light or two. Every part on the 20 year old car was dirty. The tiny army of ultrasonic cavitations do make quick work and most parts shaped right up to factory new appearance. For those that didn't or that were broken, the fleet of salvage Saabs at the local you-pull-it salvage yard generously supplied parts. My goal was to have all of the parts cleaned, inspected, and ready for when the body returned.
