Adjustments To Camber

Andrew

Updated: Oct 17, 2022

The first round of parts were able to get me to ~1.5deg of front camber. So more was needed. I called and talked to T3 who did a custom build using some Datsun places and then plenty of new machining. Super nice people to work with! The result was 3 degrees of negative camber...getting closer!

At the same time, understeer was still fighting pretty hard. So here is the latest, based on a good article on Grassroots Motorsports: Make your front-wheel-drive car faster | Advice from pro racer Robb | Articles | Grassroots Motorsports

Beefing up the spring rates and ripping out the front sway bar yielded +3 sec per lap. Much better turn in and decently limited body roll.

Front:

Eibach springs (7", 500lbs ) 0700.250.0500

No anti-roll bar.

Rear:

Eibach springs (4", 700lbs) 0400.250.0700

Biggest Genuine Saab anti-roll bar possible.
